About the event
The Calgary Snowmobile Club is happy to participate in the new Guided Rides program promoted by the ASA and Alberta Tourism.
We will provide experienced riders from the club to guide a group of snowmobilers for the day on our scenic trail system out at Cataract Creek. Please note the requirements below to participate in this event. As with any event the club hosts, we reserve the right to reschedule or cancel the event due to poor trail or weather conditions.
During this ride we will take time to showcase our trail system with stops at various points of interest and major intersections to describe the maps and navigation. We will stop for lunch at our new south shelter with an opportunity to warm up by the fire and use the facilities if needed. To promote a safe ride for all, please expect a slower ride with more frequent stops and more moderate speeds. We do expect all riders in attendance to know how to operate their snowmobiles and how to ride on trails. This ride is not intended for people who have never ridden a snowmobile. Young riders must be accompanied by an adult.
